Ingredients
  1. 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
  2. 1 1/2 cups flour
  3. 3/4 cup butter
  4. 1/4 tsp soda
  5. 1 cup brown sugar
Filling
  1. 2 cups dates
  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup water
  4. 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients for filling.
  2. Simmer until thick.
  3. Cool.
  4. Sift soda with flour.
  5. Combine flour, brown sugar and oats.
  6. Work in butter.
  7. Pat 1/2 mixture in 9x9 greased pan.
  8. Spread date filling over oat mixture.
  9. Pat the other 1/2 of oat mixture on top.
  10. Bake at 375F for 45 minutes.
  11. Cut into squares when cool.

Melt in a pot
  1. 1/2 lb butter
  2. 1 cup brown sugar
  3. 1 tbsp instant coffee
  4. 1 tbsp cocoa
Instructions
  1. Line a jelly roll pan with foil.
  2. Preheat oven to 350F
  3. Bring melted ingredients to a boil.
  4. Add handful of sesame seeds.
  5. Line the pan with graham wafers.
  6. Pour mixture over wafers.
  7. Bake at 350F for 8 minutes.
  8. Separate wafers while warm.
  9. Store in covered tin.

Ingredients
  1. 2 1/2 cups graham wafer crumbs
  2. 1 cup margarine
  3. 1/2 cup icing sugar
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1 large can crushed pineapple
  6. 1/2 pint whipping cream
Instructions
  1. Pat together graham wafer crumbs and margarine.
  2. Save 1/4 cup for topping.
  3. Spread in 8x12 pan and bake for 15 minutes at 325F.
  4. Blend together 1/2 cup margarine and 1/2 cup icing sugar
  5. Add 2 well beaten eggs.
  6. Spread on baked crust.
  7. Drain a large can of crushed pineapple and fold into 1/2 pint of whipping cream.
  8. Spread over icing sugar mixture.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs over top.
  10. Chill in fridge for several hours.
  11. Cut in squares.

Ingredients

  2. 2 packages lemon pie filling
  3. 3 egg whites
  4. 1/2 cup margarine.
Glaze
  1. 2 cups icing sugar
  2. 1 beaten egg white
  3. 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Mix graham wafers and margarine.
  2. Spread 2/3 of this, on 8x12 pan and bake for 15 minutes at 325F
  3. Cool filling and combine with 2 beaten egg whites.
  4. Spread filling over graham crust.
  5. Place the other 1/3 of wafer crumbs over the filling.
  6. Cover with a layer of whipped topping.
  7. Glaze with a mix of icing sugar, egg white and vanilla and let it harden.
  8. Melt 1 oz of bitter chocolate with 2 tbsp butter.
  9. While hot, drizzle in rows.
  10. Before dry make squares with fork.
  11. Refrigerate.

  3. Mix well and press into the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
  4. Saute the onions in 2 tbsp margarine and add noodles.
  5. Toss and spread over crust.
  6. Beat eggs and add milk, salt, pepper, and remaining cheese and pour over noodles.
  7. Bake at 325F for 40 minutes.
  8. If you wish, you can sprinkle some cheese on top before it is completely cooked (about 5 minutes before)
