Ingredients
- 1 package unflavoured gelatin
- 1 1/2 cups skim milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 egg separated
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup ice water
- Artificial sugar equivalent
- 1 cup skim milk powder to 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
- Sprinkle the gelatin over 1/2 cup skim milk and let stand for 5 minutes.
- In an 8 cup glass or microwaveable bowl, whisk 1 cup skim milk with cocoa.
- Microwave at 50% for 3-5 minutes or until boiling.
- Reduce to 30% and microwave for 5 minutes.
- Combine corn starch, egg yolk and 1/4 cup milk and whisk into cocoa mixture.
- Microwave at 50% for 2 minutes.
- Mix in the gelatin and sweetener stirring until dissolved.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Refrigerate until 1/2 set.
- Combine skim milk powder, egg white and ice water and beat until stiff.
- Fold into chocolate mixture and pour into six serving dishes.
- Refrigerate for four hours.
