Ingredients
  1. 1 cup hot milk
  2. 2 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  3. 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
  4. 2 tbsp cold milk
  5. 1 beaten egg yolk
  6. 1/4 tsp vanilla
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. 1 ripe banana
Instructions
  1. Blend cornstarch, sugar and cold milk.
  2. Add egg yolk and blend.
  3. Add slowly to the hot milk and cook over double boiler stirring until thick.
  4. Cook one minute more stir and add vanilla.
  5. Refrigerate.
  6. Remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Place cut up banana in bottom of serving dish and top with custard.
  8. This makes two servings.
