Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt into a bowl.
- Add shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla.
- Mix until smooth.
- Fold in rolled oats.
- Shape into balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 12-15 minutes.
