Ingredients
  1. 1 cup flour
  2. 1 tsp baking powder
  3. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 1/3 cup shortening
  6. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  7. 1/2 cup sugar
  8. 1 egg
  9. 1 tbsp water
  10. 1 tsp vanilla
  11. 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt into a bowl.
  3. Add shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla.
  4. Mix until smooth.
  5. Fold in rolled oats.
  6. Shape into balls.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheet Bake 12-15 minutes.
