Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup raisins
  2. 1/2 cup orange juice
  3. 2 tbsp sugar
  4. 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  5. 2 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  7. 1/4 tsp salt
  8. 1/4 cup margarine
  9. 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Soak the raisins in orange juice.
  2. Place sugar, flour, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt into a large bowl.
  3. Stir well.
  4. Cut margarine into dry ingredients to size of peas.
  5. Add egg, raisins and orange juice and mix.
  6. Shape dough into a ball.
  7. Divide in half and pat on a floured board in 1/2 inch round.
  8. Score each round into six pie shaped pieces and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake At 400F for 20 minutes.
