Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups sour pitted cherries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 oz flour
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Bring water to boiling point add cherries, sugar and salt.
- Bring to boil then cook slowly until cherries are soft.
- Put a few aside for garnish.
- Mix flour with 1/2 cup water to smooth paste.
- Gradually add the soup.
- Gently bring to boil and stir for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Take 4 Tbsp soup and add briskly into beaten egg and immediately pour back into soup.
- Stir and cook for 3 minutes.
- DO NOT BOIL.
- Allow to get cold and add sour cream.
- Garnish with cherries.
