Ingredients
  1. 4 quarts popcorn
  2. 1 1/3 cups sugar
  3. 2 cups chopped pecans
  4. 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  5. 1 cup butter
  6. 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Mix popcorn and pecans in 6 quart mixing bowl.
  2. Melt butter in small pan and add sugar and corn syrup.
  3. Bring to boil, stirring and then simmer for 3 minutes.
  4. Add vanilla and blend well.
  5. Pour over popcorn mixture stirring continually.
  6. Let stand 2 minutes to cool.
  7. With hands dampened in cold water, shape into 2 1/2 inch balls.
  8. Arrange on cookie sheet to set.
  9. Wrap each in plastic or foil and store in a cool dry place.
