Ingredients
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 lb very thin noodles (capellini)
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cook the noodles with 1 tsp salt.
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the oil and ½ cup sugar.
- Stir constantly until the sugar turns almost black.
- Add this to pasta and mix well.
- Cool slightly.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl, add remaining salt, remaining sugar, pepper, and cinnamon. Pour into the pasta mixture and toss well.
- Transfer to greased tube pan and bake for one hour.
- Remove from oven and turn upside down on a plate.
