Ingredients
  1. 2 large red jam jelly rolls
  2. 3 tbsp custard powder
  3. 2 tbsp sugar
  4. 2½ cups homo milk
  5. 1 pkg strawberry Jello
  6. 2 cups hot water
  7. 2 cups cold water
  8. 2- 14oz cans strawberries
  9. 2 half-pint cartons whipping cream
  10. some cherry
  11. some sugar
Instructions
  1. Dissolve Jello in hot water.
  2. Add cold water.
  3. Let it set.
  4. Mix custard powder with sugar and a little milk to make a paste.
  5. Heat the milk in a saucepan and stir into custard powder bowl then back to saucepan and cook until thick.
  6. Keep warm.
  7. Break the jelly rolls into small pieces and place in bottom of trifle.
  8. Glass bowl.
  9. Pour sherry over.
  10. Add strawberries and push them well into the cake.
  11. Pour warm custard over fruit.
  12. Chill to set custard.
  13. Break up the jelly with a fork and place over custard.
  14. Whip cream with a little sugar and smooth over jelly.
  15. Decorate with almonds.
