Ingredients
- 1 oz butter
- 1 oz flour
- 3 pints water
- 2 lb pitted cherries
- Sugar
- 4 tbsp kirsch
- Several crusts of bread
Instructions
- Heat butter and stir in flour then gradually add water.
- When blended, add cherries and sugar.
- Bring to boil then cook slowly until the cherries are soft.
- Add kirsch and stir well and bring to boil.
- Put the crusts into plates and add hot soup.
