Ingredients
- 6 eggs separated
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup matzo meal
- 1 1/2 cups grated carrots
- 1/4 cup fine ground almonds
- 2 tbsp wine.
Instructions
- Beat eggs with salt until fluffy.
- Beat egg yolks until thick.
- Gradually add sugar while continue to beat.
- Fold in matzo meal, carrots, almonds and wine.
- Carefully fold in egg whites.
- Pour into 2 1/2 quart greased baking dish.
- Bake at 350F for 1 hour.
