Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 cups flour
  2. 2 tbsp sugar
  3. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 cup butter
  5. 4 apples
  6. 1/2 cup sugar
  7. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  8. 1 cup sour cream
  9. 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together flour, 2 tbsp sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles rolled oats.
  4. Pat mixture into a 9 inch square baking pan.
  5. Peel and cut apples into eighths and place pieces on base.
  6. Combine 1/2 cup sugar (or less) with cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and bake for 30 minutes. Combine sour cream and egg.
  7. Pour mixture over apples and return to oven for 15 minutes.
