Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F.
- In a large bowl, stir together flour, 2 tbsp sugar, and baking powder.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles rolled oats.
- Pat mixture into a 9 inch square baking pan.
- Peel and cut apples into eighths and place pieces on base.
- Combine 1/2 cup sugar (or less) with cinnamon; sprinkle over apples and bake for 30 minutes. Combine sour cream and egg.
- Pour mixture over apples and return to oven for 15 minutes.
