Ingredients
- 3 lb Beef brisket
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 onions chopped
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp liquid honey
- 2 cloves garlic minced
Instructions
- Trim the fat from the meat.
- Combine paprika, mustard and pepper; rub this all over the meat.
- Spread onions in a 12 cup shallow microwaveable casserole.
- Combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey and garlic; pour over meat and turn to coat.
- Cover and refrigerate over night.
- Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Microwave on high for 5 minutes.
- Microwave covered for 90 minutes at medium [50%].
- Turn the meat over twice and baste.
- Let stand for 20 minutes.
- Slice the meat across the grain.
- Return to casserole and microwave for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Check for fork tender.
Notes
- If you have a microwave that turns, you will have to use a smaller dish that will be able to turn and not catch.
