Ingredients
  1. 1 orange Jello
  2. 1 cup boiling water
Dissolve and add
  1. 1 6 oz can undiluted orange juice
  2. 1 10 oz can mandarin orange sections – drained
  3. Put in mold and allow to congeal.
  4. 1 lemon Jello
  5. 1 cup boiling water
  6. Dissolve and cool.
  7. 1 4oz package cream cheese softened with spoon
  8. 8 oz whipping cream, not whipped
  9. Cream together just to combine.
Instructions
  1. Add lemon Jell-o to cheese and cream.
  2. Mix to combine.
  3. When orange part is congealed, pour lemon part over it.
  4. Set overnight.

Ingredients
  1. 3 oranges, free of membrane, diced
  2. 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 2 cups orange juice and water
  4. 6 oz pack orange jello
  5. 2 cups boiling water
  6. 2 bananas sliced
Instructions
  1. Combine oranges and sugar and let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Drain off juice and add enough water to make 2 cups liquid.
  3. Dissolve the Jello in boiling Water.
  4. Add orange juice.
  5. Chill until slightly thickened.
  6. Fold in oranges and bananas.
  7. Pour into 6 cup mold.
  8. Chill until firm.

Cake
  1. 6 eggs
  2. 250 ml sugar
  3. 5 ml vanilla
  4. 125 ml flour
  5. 125 ml cocoa
  6. 125 ml oil
Filling
  1. 2 tins sweet pitted cherries
  2. 75 ml cherry brandy
  3. 200 ml reserved cherry juice
  4. 1 tbsp corn starch
Topping
  1. 500 ml whipping cream
  2. 75 ml icing sugar
Cake
  1. Grease or spray with PAM, 3 round cake pans, line with wax paper and spray.
  2. In large bowl of electric mixer, place eggs, sugar and vanilla.
  3. Beat on high for 10 minutes.
  4. Sift together flour and cocoa.
  5. Sift a little at a time over the egg mixture and fold with a spatula.
  6. Gradually fold in oil.
  7. Pour batter in pans and bake at 275F for 30 minutes.
  8. Cool.
Filling
  1. Drain cherries, reserve juice.
  2. Pour brandy over the cherries and let stand for 2 hours.
  3. In a small pan, combine corn starch gradually with the cherry juice.
  4. Add cherry mixture.
  5. Heat to boiling stirring constantly.
  6. Cook for one minute or until clear.
  7. Chill the mixture.
Topping
  1. Beat cream until it thickens.
  2. Sift icing sugar over whipping cream and beat until it begins to peak.
Assembly
  1. Place one layer on serving plate and spread 1/3 of the cherry mixture over.
  2. Spread with 1/4 of the whipping cream topping.
  3. Repeat with 2nd and 3rd layers.
  4. Ice sides with the last 1/4 of topping.
  5. Garnish with semi sweet chocolate shavings.

  1. Firm dough into 1½ inch rolls.

Ingredients

  6. Set aside.
  7. In another bowl, beat remaining eggs until fluffy and light in colour.
  8. Gradually add remaining 3/4 cup sugar.
  9. Beat until thick.
  10. Fold in baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup flour.
  11. Blend in cooled chocolate mixture.
  12. Stir in nuts, almond extract and 1 tsp vanilla.
  13. Set aside 1 cup chocolate batter.
  14. Spread remaining batter on a greased 9 inch square pan.
  15. Pour cheese mixture over top.
  16. Drop measured chocolate batter by tbsp onto the cheese mixture.
  17. Swirl mixture to marbleize.
  18. Bake at 350F for 35-40 minutes.
  19. Cool.
  20. Cut in bars and store covered in fridge.
