Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp orange rind
- 1/3 cup nutmeats
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Cream butter; add sugar gradually.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Add orange rind.
- Add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixing well.
- Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350F for one hour.
- Cool 10 minutes.
- Mix orange juice and sugar for glaze and spread over loaf with pastry brush.
- Return to oven for one minute.
