Ingredients
  1. 1 3/4 cup flour
  2. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1/4 cup butter
  5. 3/4 cup sugar
  6. 2 eggs
  7. 2 tsp orange rind
  8. 1/3 cup nutmeats
  9. 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Cream butter; add sugar gradually.
  2. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  3. Add orange rind.
  4. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixing well.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350F for one hour.
  6. Cool 10 minutes.
  7. Mix orange juice and sugar for glaze and spread over loaf with pastry brush.
  8. Return to oven for one minute.
