Ingredients
  1. 1 medium orange
  2. 1/2 cup chopped dates
  3. 1/2 cup orange juice
  4. 1/2 cup butter
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 cup flour
  7. 1/2 cup oat bran
  8. 1/2 cup sugar
  9. 1 tsp baking soda
  10. 1 tsp baking powder
  11. 1/2 tsp salt
  12. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  13. 3/4 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
  1. Cut the orange into 8 pieces.
  2. Process orange and dates until fine.
  3. Add orange juice and process another 45 seconds.
  4. Add butter and egg.
  5. Process.
  6. Combine the rest of the ingredients keeping 1/4 cup nuts.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Add orange mixture.
  9. Stir until all moistened.
  10. Fill greased tins to 3/4 full.
  11. Bake at 425F for 18 minutes.
