Ingredients
  1. 1 cup butter
  2. 1 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 4 eggs
  4. 1 tsp vanilla
  5. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  6. 2 tbsp grated lemon rind
  7. 2 1/2 cups flour
  8. 1/2 cup cornmeal
  9. 2 tsp baking powder
  10. 1 tsp soda
  11. 1 cup milk
  12. 1 1/2 cup blueberries
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs one at a time.
  3. Beat well.
  4. Beat in vanilla, lemon juice and rind.
  5. Reserve 2 tbsp flour for blueberries.
  6. Combine the remaining flour, corn meal, baking powder and baking soda.
  7. Add dry ingredients to butter mixture alternately with milk.
  8. Beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  9. Toss blueberries with flour and stir gently into batter.
  10. Bake in greased tins at 350F for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove from pans and cool.

  4. Toss blueberries and sugar and add with lemon rind.
  5. Fill grease pans 1/2 full and bake at 400F for 25 minutes.
  6. While still warm, dip tops in melted butter and then in sugar.

  1. 1 pkg 6 oz lime Jello
  2. 2 cups boiling water
  3. 2 cups pineapple juice and water
  4. 15 vanilla wafers

  1. Dissolve Jell-o in boiling water. Add pineapple juice and water.
  2. Chill till thick. Line sides of greased spring form pan with wafers. Cover bottom of pan with crushed wafers. Spread pineapple over crumbs.
  3. Whip cream and fold into Jello.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff.
  5. Add sugar, 2 tbsp at a time, beating mixture until it peaks.
  6. Fold into Jell-O.
  7. Pour over pineapple in pan.
  8. Chill overnight.
  9. Garnish with whipped cream.

  1. 12 oz pkg pitted prunes
  2. 4 cups boiling water
  3. 1 orange
  4. 1 cinnamon stick

  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Stir in sugar and por into bowl.
