Ingredients
- 1 cup hot milk
- 2 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cold milk
- 1 beaten egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 1 ripe banana
Instructions
- Blend cornstarch, sugar and cold milk.
- Add egg yolk and blend.
- Add slowly to the hot milk and cook over double boiler stirring until thick.
- Cook one minute more stir and add vanilla.
- Refrigerate.
- Remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving.
- Place cut up banana in bottom of serving dish and top with custard.
- This makes two servings.
