  1. 1 1/4 cup flour
  2. 1/4 tsp soda
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
  5. 3/4 cup brown sugar
  6. 3/4 cup margarine
Peach and Spices
  1. 6 peaches, thinly spiced
  2. 1/2 tsp ground orange peel
  3. 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  4. Pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Mix crust ingredients together.
  2. Mix the thinly sliced peaches and spices.
  3. Place 1/2 the crust ingredients in a 9 inch round baking pan.
  4. Arrange the peaches over this.
  5. Press on the remaining crust ingredients.
  6. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 cups chopped pitted dates
  2. 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup orange juice
  4. 1 1/4 cups quick cooking oats
  5. 3/4 cup brown sugar
  6. 1 cup flour
  7. 1/4 cup toasted chopped pecans
  8. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  9. 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  10. 1/4 cup water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Spray an 8x8 pan with vegetable spray.
  3. Combine in a sauce pan, dates, orange juice and sugar.
  4. Bring to boil and simmer at medium heat about 15 minutes or dates are soft and liquid absorbed. Mash and let cool.
  5. In a bowl, stir together, oats, cinnamon, oil and water.
  6. Pat 1/2 of mixture in prepared dish.
  7. Put in the date mixture and sprinkle the other 1/2 oat mixture over the dates.
  8. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or the mixture is golden.
  9. Cool.

  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 2 tsp vanilla

Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla. Sift flour, and salt together.
  3. Add to mixture and blend thoroughly.
  4. Add pecans and mix well.
  5. Roll into small balls.
  6. Place the balls on a lightly greased sheet about 1 inch apart and bake for 20 minutes at 325F.
  7. Cool then roll in the confectionery sugar.
